Let's break this down here- Type 1 diabetes can happen at any age. Type 2 typically happens over age 40 but can still happen at any age. Type 1 has absolutely NOTHING to do with a persons weight. Type 1 is an autoimmune disease. Type 2 can sometimes happen to an obese person but not all type 2s are obese and not all obese people become diabetic. A diet in monounsaturated fat is not good for any type of diabetes but DOES NOT cause it. Type 1 diabetes has NOTHING to do with physical inactivity. Type 2 diabetes can happen to someone who is not physically active but not all inactive people get type 2 and not all people who get type 2 are inactive. Thought I had explained this to you yesterday. NONE of the things you have written are factors in developing any type of diabetes! They may be something that can contribute to diabetes but are not a definite. They are mostly just stereotypes. |
